Getting better, maybe

So I've been pretending I feel better so far this week. I've still got congestion in my upper chest and stuffed up sinuses, but I can get away with feeling almost normal with Sudafed and Robitussin. At a friend's suggestion, I've been trying to walk at lunchtime (or at some point during the day). I've only been successful 2 of the 4 days this week.

My goal is to feel well enough to make it to the gym next week. I don't know about swimming yet, but I can at least pretend and use some of the machines. I hope.

That probably means I should go to bed since I need to get up early to drive carpool tomorrow. Besides, by the time I get home from work, I'm tired enough to skip dinner if I didn't have to feed the boys.

I hope you really are getting better. I feel much better... but I am still coughing. I think everyone is now done with their antibiotics now. I really need to work on going to bed and getting sleep but I am doing pretty well otherwise.

Wow, all of you have been having a miserable winter! We certainly had a bad start, but have been ok this month. (Owen got an ear infection, but he merely complained of an annoying noise in his ear -- no pain.) Cabin fever is what we'll get today -- the snow is coming down (again!)

Being sick is miserable, but don't discount how much time it takes to get better. Going to the gym is good, but don't over-push yourself just because you haven't been. Especially with stuff in your chest it's easy to get out of breath. But I'm glad to hear there may be a light at the end of the tunnel.
