I wish I had some big positive news to post, but I don't. I just thought I would check in with everyone.
I haven't been good about going to bed recently, but I have made significant progress on staying on track with my course work.
We haven't been doing very well at making progress unpacking lately, but I have been keeping up with laundry and dishes. We are also planning on tackling a couple of things on the house to-do list this weekend.
I am looking forward to next week. My schedule is going to change slightly because I will be sitting in and helping with a course one of my professors teaches. This means that I will work more of my hours on Wednesday and the way I have it arranged with my baby-sitter means that I will actually get to spend Friday at home with the kids. I don't know what this will do for me as far as getting course work done, but it will give me more flexibility with household things.
How is everyone else doing?
Helping each other keep on track with the goals we've set for ourselves.

Sometimes you have to take a break to make progress. you've been doing a LOT of unpacking while trying to do the rest of your life too, so a pause in that doesn't mean you're behind. There's always stuff to be behind on - sounds like you're keeping up with the important stuff.
I don't have any big positive news, either. I still struggle to limit the unhealthy snacking. I really want to do at least one mini-triathlon this year and one backpacking trip. And yet, I'm still not exercising. One problem is, I get to the end of the day after the kids exhaust me, and I feel entitled to sit in front of the TV and relax. Here's some things I need to try:
- Change into workout clothes after tucking in the kids and before going downstairs.
- Finish the dishes and tidying the kitchen before my TV time. (I tend to not want to get up from in front of the TV and go to bed because I dread doing the dishes....)
- Since I'm already in my workout clothes, watch TV in the basement while working on the treadmill or eliptical.
Sounds doable, right? So why is it so darn hard?!
